Continuing the club's 150-year anniversary celebrations, the Essendon County Tour is heading interstate for the rest of the season with a very prestigious item on board for the last time this season.
To coincide with celebrations for the club’s 150th anniversary, the tour presents the opportunity for interstate Bombers fans to get up close and personal with the 2000 Premiership cup.
For the Adelaide leg of the tour, South Australian Dons fans had the chance to take photos with the 2000 Premiership cup and meet fellow SA players in Mason Redman and Will Snelling.
Perth fans were treated with WA past players Graham Moss, Gary O’Donnell, David Myers, Cale Hooker & Nick Kommer.
Brisbane presented the opportunity to meet Mark Harvey & Dustin Fletcher at The Aussie Nash before the win over the Brisbane Lions at The Gabba.
The cup will head north again with Premiership star Dustin Fletcher to Sydney, featuring at the Dons’ Country Tour event at Abattoir Blues on Saturday August 6th, (round 21) at 11:30am before we take on GWS Giants at Giants Stadium, NSW.
Interstate Essendon supporters, and football fans alike will have the opportunity to have photos with club legends and the 2000 Premiership cup while enjoying a Carlton Draught along the way.
As a thank you from the club to fans across the state, all events will be free for supporters to attend.
