The BendigoBombers have gone down to the Coburg Tigers by 57 points in their last match ofthe VFL season despite a strong showing from Essendon listed stars Ricky Dysonand Sam Lonergan.

Lonergan, who hasbeen sidelined since Round 14 with a medial ligament injury, made a successfulreturn to the field, following the Bendigo Bombers’ 57-point loss to the eleventh-placed Coburg side yesterday afternoon.

Both Lonerganand Dyson had best on ground performances, with Henry Slattery and youngrecruit Ariel Steinberg also impressing at the Queen Elizabeth Oval, despite the Bombers' disappointing loss.
