Essendon has named its extended squad to face Collingwood on Sunday at the MCG.
Four inclusions are vying for selection in Brayden Ham, Massimo D'Ambrosio, Alec Waterman and James Stewart.
Ham was last week's medical sub and was not used.
D'Ambrosio impressed in his foray as a small forward with 15 disposals, three tackles and a goal, as did Waterman's pressure forward play, registering an equal team-high five tackles.
In his first game back from a foot injury, Stewart built his fitness and showed his class with four goals as a key forward.
The Bombers will name their final team on Friday, July 22 at 5pm AEST.
