Matthew Knights says the Club will explore a number of options before appointing a replacement for Scott Camporeale and Ashley Prescott who informed the Club earlier this week that they would move interstate at season's end.
Knights said he was open-minded about any prospective replacements with his main focus being on attaining the best possible candidates for the Essendon Football Club.
“We’re looking to set our structure up pretty early for next year,"" Knights said.
“We’re not going to waste any time to get out there amongst it to bring the best people that we can to the Essendon Football Club for 2011 and beyond. That’s something I’m really excited about.""
Knights said his meeting with Paul Hamilton and Mark Williams yesterday had been a casual discussion to gauge Williams' future career plans.
“At this point there is nothing concrete, we had an initial discussion for half an hour that was very fruitful and quite enjoyable,"" he said.

“That’s something I instigated a couple of weeks ago when I rang him - just to have a general chat post his football career.

“I said that it would be great if, when he was in Melbourne, he wanted to catch up and just see where he was at.""
