Eight players have debut for Essendon so far in 2010. Jake Melksham, Travis Colyer, Ben Howlett, Stuart Crameri, Marcus Marigliani, Kyle Hardingham, Tyson Slattery and Jake Carlisle have all played their first game for the Bombers this season.
In this week’s poll we pose the question, ‘Who has been the most impressive Bombers debutante in 2010?’

In last week’s poll we asked, ‘Who will win the 2010 Crichton Medal?’ Essendon’s skipper, Jobe Watson was the most popular choice with 71.65% of voters believing that he will take home this year’s medal. Dustin Fletcher was second with 20.47% of votes, followed by Michael Hurley on 3.94% and Angus Monfries on 0.79%. Four voters said that someone else would win the Crichton Medal this year.
Here’s what some voters had to say last week:
Terri from Moonee Ponds says: Dustin has been brilliant all year but it's a shame that a 35 year old is the stand out player in our team. More is needed from the rest of the players!
Joseph Attard from Taylors Hill says: Without a shadow of a doubt it'll be Jobey. He's been the most outstanding player throughout the year by a long way, and no one comes close to him at this point in time, barring a huge turn-around from a few players.
Xavier Harrington from South Warrandyte says: Watson and Fletcher would be the only players this year that would deserve to win the Best and Fairest. If any other player got up I feel it would be unworthy.
Greg from Adelaide says: Hurley might have stood a better chance for some honours if he wasn't played out of position for most of year.
Jaden Frigo from Victoria says: I reckon B.Stanton may win it but I hope it is Fletcher. We love him here and he has been a key to all our wins. What are Michael Hurley and Angus Monfries names doing there?
Ciaran Broderick from Craigieburn, Victoria says: Why isn't Winderlich on the list? He's played a lot of games and has been a good to outstanding player for most of those games.
