A group of Essendon players got into the wrestle mania fever that hit Melbourne last weekend. Dean Solomon, Joe Misiti, Mark McVeigh, David Hille and assistant coach Mark Harvey attended the WWE Global Warning Tour Melbourne Charity Gala Dinner for Challenge: a cancer support network on Friday, August 9th at the Plaza Ballroom, Regent Theatre. The Bomber boys were thrilled to discover that WWE Superstar, ""The Rock"" was also seated on their table for the evening.

Another highlight for the Bomber Boys was a meeting with WWE Megastar, BrockLesnar, who managed to squeeze his giant torso into an Essendon FootballJumper much to everyone's delight. Brock was very keen to meet with theplayers and asked if he could take the Essendon guernsey home with him as asouvenir. You never know - Brock could be wearing it next time he enters thering for WWE! The black-tie event raised $100,000.00 for children andfamilies living with cancer.
