The final chance is upon Essendon fans to vote for the club’s greatest ever moment in its 150-year history.
Over the past month, the Bombers have invited fans to whittle down 30 of the most iconic Dons moments to the top 10.
Now, fans will be asked to vote for the club’s greatest moment, with the top five and No.1 moment to be announced at Essendon’s 150th Year Anniversary Gala Dinner on Saturday, June 11.
Essendon’s top 10 greatest moments, as voted by you, are listed and presented below.
- Reynolds’ triple Brownlows (1934, ’37-38)
- 1942 - Reynolds’ drought-breaking Premiership
- 1949 - Coleman’s debut
- 1965 - September specialists
- 1984 - Drought breakers
- 1993 - The Baby Bombers
- 1993 - Long runs &runs
- 1993 - Jacket jubilation
- 2000 - Sweet 16
- 2009 - Zacka’s zingers
Those wishing to cast their vote only have limited time remaining, with voting closing at 11:59pm AEST on Thursday, June 9.
The final round of voting has the chance for supporters to win a copy of the Red & Black Collection special 150th anniversary book ($329) and one 2022 team-signed guernsey ($500).
