Kyle Langford
Langford’s attitude in his first VFL game in almost two months was terrific. The youngster flourished after being given an increased role in the midfield. Racking up 25 possessions and one goal, he was named best on ground. Langford would love to finish the season in the senior side and hit the ground running for his first full-pre-season at Bomberland.
Jason Ashby
Ashby’s form has been building nicely. The hard-nosed midfielder was again among the best in the VFL on the weekend. Tackling and chasing hard, Ashby continues to do the team things well. A solid 22-possession game last weekend will be sure throw Ashby’s name in the mix for an AFL recall on Sunday.
Elliott Kavanagh
Kavanagh’s form in the VFL has been improving each week. Kavanagh’s consistency has been something that is continually praised by the coaches. After 22-possessions and a goal, the classy midfielder is sure to be firming in line for AFL selection.
Ariel Steinberg
Steinberg continues to be a dominant figure at VFL level. Holding down a key-position post in defence last weekend, Steinberg limited Richmond forward Liam McBean to just two goals as well as gathering 19 touches and taking nine marks himself. After AFL exposure throughout the season, Steinberg will be sure to seize an opportunity if it comes his way in the final round.
