Essendon midfielder Darcy Parish remains a chance to play against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday, after scans cleared the 24-year-old of any serious damage to his ankle area.
General manager of football Josh Mahoney said Parish had scans on Monday, following an incident on Anzac Day where his left foot was caught underneath him in a tackle.

“Scans have excluded significant structural damage, which will mean he remains a chance to play against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday,” Mahoney said.
“We will continue to see how the discomfort settles in the coming days before determining his availability to play.”
