The 2015 J. J. Liston Trophy for the VFL’s best and fairest player was awarded at Crown Palladium on Monday night.
North Ballarat’s Nick Rippon was awarded the medal after polling 15 votes. His triumph made him the sixth winner from the Roosters in the last 12 years.
A strong season from the VFL Bombers saw 15 different vote getters, totaling 62 votes - the sixth most of any club.
The most notable Essendon players were Shaun McKernan and Ariel Steinberg who both placed equal 10th after they were awarded 10 votes each.
Shaun Edwards rounded the Bombers’ top-3 polling nine votes and finishing equal 19th for the league.
