2008 AFL ATTTENDANCES
The AFL's attendance figure for round 15 was 303,507 people, representing the tenth separate round this year that more than 300,000 fans had attended the eight matches. This is the all-time record for the history of the game, breaking the previous mark of eight separate rounds established in 2005. The crowd of 52,592 for the Collingwood v Adelaide match at the MCG represented the largest home and away crowd for any Adelaide match since the club entered the competition for the 1991 season. Friday's crowd of 55,568 for the match at the MCG represented the all-time record for a home and away match between Carlton and St Kilda since the clubs first met in 1897, eclipsing the previous mark of 53,065 established at Waverley in 1990.
