Essendon captain Jobe Watson has been honoured for his standout 2013 season being named in the All Australian team for the second year in a row.
Watson was named on the interchange bench in this year’s team.
He averaged 27 disposals and 5 clearances a game this season to go along with 16 goals.
With consistency a standout, back-to-back All Australian honours is due recognition for Watson’s brilliant 2013 season.
The Bombers skipper was at his inspirational best playing 19 games and leading from the front in an emotion charged season for his side.
Watson received his first All Australian honour in 2012 to go along side his Brownlow Medal and best and fairest wins.
