Essendon is pleased to announce House of Marley will continue as the Bombers’ official headphone and portable audio partner for a further two years.
House of Marley first joined the Bombers family in 2017 through parent company HoMedics, with this extension taking the partnership to six years.
Established to continue musician Bob Marley’s legacy of love for music and the planet, House of Marley is focused on creating superior quality audio products that are produced in a sustainable way, including mindfully sourced materials and considered design decisions.
Through the partnership, Essendon will collaborate with House of Marley’s existing relationship with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organisation restoring forests, enhancing biodiversity and making positive social impacts across the globe.
Across the 2022 season, Marley will donate five trees to One Tree Planted for every mark taken by an Essendon player.
Last year, a total of 10,625 trees were donated to the charity as a part of the Marley Match Marks initiative.
We're at 10,240 trees donated to @onetreeplanted at the end of the H&A season 🌳

Let's grow that further in the #AFLFinals series, all thanks to @houseofmarleyAU.
Essendon CEO Xavier Campbell said the club was grateful for its partnership with House of Marley.
“It’s terrific to continue our association with House of Marley and further develop our connection to the One Tree Planted initiative,” Campbell said.
“Together, we have made great progress last year planting over 10,000 trees and hopefully this number will only increase this season.”
General manager of House of Marley Michael Tapp said he was excited to continue working with Essendon and sharing the message of sustainability.
“House of Marley’s partnership with the Essendon Football club has been very successful and we are ecstatic to renew our partnership, continue building awareness and unique content creation to showcase House of Marley’s industry-leading commitment to sustainable audio here in Australia,“ Tapp said.
“Together we are particularly proud to work together on our charitable commitment to One Tree Planted using our Marley Match Marks initiative.”
