The Multicultural Schools Program is a six week program delivered to primary schools in the Club's local community, with a high multicultural student population.

The program comprises of students being taught basic footy skills but also learning some valuable life skills along the way.

After the six weeks students then put the skills they have learnt into practise when they compete in the club’s annual Multicultural Schools Cup, an AFL 9’s round robin style tournament.

This year, the Club hosted the tournament at Windy Hill on Tuesday 8 September, 2015.

There were seven schools competing on the day, with all schools entering both a girls and a boys team into the competition.

With special guests in attendance from AFL Vic, AFL Youth Girls, the EDFL and the Essendon Football Club, the children definitely made sure they turned up with their 'A game'.

The competition was fierce but all involved played in good spirits and showcased some unbelievable skills.

In the end Pascoe Vale North Primary School came away with the spoils in both the girls and the boys divisions and will now move on to represent the club at the AFL’s State Competition.
