Essendon's full squad has trained together for the first time this pre-season to mark the beginning of summer.

In hot and humid conditions at the NEC Hangar on Wednesday, draftees Ben Hobbs, Alastair Lord, Garrett McDonagh and Patrick Voss completed their first session alongside their new teammates, with the senior players having returned to the club two days prior.
