Essendon's VFLW side has hit the ground running ahead of the 2022 season.

Fresh off a historic preliminary final berth, head coach Brendan Major has his charges completing a new three-session per week program.

Week one of the side's pre-season has been filled with running, education sessions and ball work, with a host of new faces auditioning for a spot in the program.
