Zach Merrett has received the plaudits for his sensational performance in Essendon's win over Adelaide, earning maximum coaches' votes.
The star Bomber stood up when his side needed him most, booting two final-term goals to finish with 31 disposals (11 contested), four clearances, three tackles and five inside 50s.
His score of 2.3 (15) was the second highest of his 120-game career, with his first putting the Dons ahead and his second the sealer in a crunch clash with the Crows.
