Live scoring and latest news widgets.

Dashboard Widgets are a great way to keep the information you want handy. And what information does every bomber fan want? The latest news and live scoring! And Bomberland is proud to offer the first AFL live score widget and the first official AFL club news widget.

What is a widget? Widgets are tiny applications that allow you fast access to tailored information. That might be the weather in London, the stock prices in New York, or the live game score at the Dome. For more information on Dashboard widgets, you can read the Apple's overview of the technology here.

Currently these widgets are only available for the Apple OS X operating system. We will be launching these same widgets for Windows users in the Yahoo! Widget format soon.

Live Scoring Widget

The Live Scoring widget keeps you up to date with the latest score live: Perfect if you are unable to get to the game. The widget will tell you the score, the time, who's leading and where the game is being played. It even tells you the result and score even if the game has finished. It's like your own personal Essendon scoreboard on your dashboard.

News Widget

The News Widget will check back with the Essendon website periodically and then show you the latest news headlines as the stories break. If you see a story that you want to know more about, then simply click on the headline and the widget will open the story in your browser.
