Essendon VFL will play in a practice match against Geelong VFL this Saturday at the True Value Solar Centre. 

Starting at 12pm, the game will provide the side with the opportunity to gauge how their pre-season is progressing and provide players old and new the chance to familiarise themselves with each other on the field.

The game will be the team’s first hit-out against an opposition team having successfully completed a number of intra-club games.

A number of Essendon AFL listed players will may feature in the game including youngster Mason Redman and off-season recruit Nathan Grima.

New Coach, Matthew Egan, encouraged fans to come down and watch the game – believing that the support at home will be important against the Cats.
