In his own words

“It was really good fun out there, all the boys joining in and everyone contributing I loved it. It was awesome. I was screaming a bit out there and after the game and singing the song so the voice is struggling now. It was unreal. One of the best experiences I have had in footy that is for sure. Being able to do it with the other boys and getting soaked in Gatorade it was actually good.” Martin Gleeson – Post match 21st March

Skippy’s take

“Marty had a fantastic year and his room for improvement is clearly his size and strength. The thing with Marty is that his footy knowledge, ball use and decision making are all elite. He needs to have a big off-season to get bigger and strong then a big pre-season to continue to develop.” Hayden Skipworth – VFL and Development Coach
