Inspirational Club champion, Neale Daniher, will kick off the ‘Daniher’s Drive’ at the mighty MCG tomorrow morning.

The four day road trip across regional Victoria will raise vital funds and awareness for Motor Neuron Disease (MND).

More than thirty cars will cruise the Great Ocean road, before heading up to Bendigo, Albury and then finishing at the True Value Solar Centre on Sunday.

Part of the touring party will include Neale’s nephew and Essendon forward Joe Daniher, as well as Bombers midfielder David Myers.

The money raised will go towards supporting the great work that the ‘Cure For MND Foundation’ do in raising the profile of MND within Australia.

Established in 2014 by Dr Ian Davis, a sufferer of MND himself, the fundamental aim of the foundation is to provide support for those affected by the disease as well as increase funding to hopefully one day find a cure.

Rather than letting MND get the better of him, Neale Daniher has become one of the high profile faces of the foundation and has worked tirelessly to ensure that the conversation surrounding MND does not stop.

You can follow the drive through the official Essendon Twitter account, as well as the Cure For MND Foundation Facebook page.
